Last week in my Media History class we were talking about
television and television news. The professor brought up a former student who
is now working at ABC News. He said, “She did it, so can you.”
It was really encouraging to hear that someone who once sat
in the same class as I am is now on national television.
Maybe these cornfields aren’t as bad as I thought.
This class discussion made me realize that I can be anything
I want to be – all I have to do is try, and never give up.
